Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance, support and monitoring of processes and procedures related to all aspects of the quality program. The chief goal is to monitor compliance to internal and external quality standards, chiefly through auditing and data collection and monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • At the direction of the Quality Director, supports special projects related to the QA department
  • Conduct quality system audits to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for oversight of the Corrective Action Process
  • Conducts Quality Training at branch locations as required
  • Maintains on line database for quality related information
  • Site support at branch locations during client quality audits as required
  • Monitor client dissatisfaction survey information with emphasis on trend analysis and if applicable, root cause
  • Analyze potential worker safety risks and implementing measures to mitigate them
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

  • A high school degree or equivalent required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience
  • ISO Certification a plus; not required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Knowledge of  applicable quality standards and company regulations

Office Environment

Extensive travel required as needed

Available for guidance during off-hours

 

Physical Requirements

Work is routinely performed in office environments, with occasional exposure to both an internal and external environment including inclement weather and varying temperatures. The qualified individual may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
