Assistant Lab Manager

The Assistant Laboratory Manager/ Supervisor have responsibility for everyday operations of the laboratory. He/she will keep the Laboratory Manager / Supervisor informed of all laboratory needs. Assistant Laboratory Manager/Supervisor is responsible for arranging instrumental calibrations, sample and analytical assignments, maintaining original data for calibrations and daily quality control, reviewing final reports and record keeping and physical maintenance of the laboratory. The Assistant Lab Manager/ Supervisor is responsible for arranging the outside support services and record keeping as well. This includes instrument service contracts, if any, subcontracting sample analysis, etc.

Petroleum Inspector

Petroleum Inspector, Sulphur, LA Perform inspections in petroleum and petrochemical terminals and refineries; perform inspections on barges and ships; perform on/off hire surveys, cargo loss control investigation, and dry cargo surveys; perform visual cleanliness inspections of tanks; verify accuracy of measurement equipment; blend cargo on board vessels; take product measurements and samples; conduct sampling of petroleum and petrochemical products according to ASTM methodology; perform inventories; inspect and examine marine vessels; prepare reports on vessel conditions; ensure vessels meet industry and company standards and specifications; perform cargo reconciliation; conduct samples of damaged cargo. 2 years experience in job offered.
